Whatever
stage of development your team or teams are currently in: forming,
storming, or performing, we’ve got a mystery event to support
that stage and to help you move up to the next level.
All
of our mystery dinners are custom-written specifically to
your organization and to your colleagues, and all of them
are fully interactive. They’re also engaging, hilarious
and fun. Building team identity means providing creative
opportunities that everyone on the team can share. Laughingstock
can provide those opportunities in Spades. See below.

MYSTERY
EVENT #1
“SAM SPADE:
Return of the Maltese Falcon”
Sam
Spade, one of the world’s most famous detectives, decides
to hang up his trench coat and go to work for your organization
and join your team, until a beautiful southern belle by the
name of April Mae June convinces him to take one last case.
Strangely, the case involves the once infamous Maltese Falcon,
and, stranger still, the case also involves every single
member of your team. There’s also a full compliment
of additional suspects, such as the waiter, Joey Bagadonuts,
and the dangerous and mysterious Madame X.
The
mystery is all about the elements that make up a great team:
Vision, communication, opportunity, resources, commitment,
and follow-through. Each audience table is assigned a character
to follow throughout the event, and everyone has an opportunity
to solve the crime. By the end of the program, we discover
that building and sustaining a great team is no mystery at
all, merely a matter of aligning values, using some critical
skills and tools, and making things work. See the Yak Grooming
page for details on delivery times and costs. |
MYSTERY
EVENT #2
“MISS MARPLE RETURNS:”
A Joint Venture with Hercule Poirot
Agatha
Christie would have LOVED this! Her two best detectives, the
very British Jane Marple and the perfectly Belgian Hercule
Poirot join together with your colleagues to create one of
the great international problem-solving teams of all time!
This mystery is all about bringing cultures together and finding
common ground for creativity and growth as we all become part
of a greater global community.
Your
peers become the chief suspects when a dastardly and fiendish
crime rocks your organizational world. Then two wax figures
of Miss Marple and Monsieur Poirot come to life and begin putting
the pieces together in pursuit of a solution as well as justice.
But the real teamwork is done by your colleagues as they try
to solve the mystery. Fully interactive and fully hilarious,
you’ll be a huge Agatha Christie fan when this one is over!
